This proposal aims to analyze the state of the art of water value models in electricity markets and, based on that analysis, to formulate a computational model for water value in electricity markets adapted to EDP’s needs. This formulation is developed in the proposed work and implemented and tested in a prototype with a reduced set of generating units and river basins.
